About the project

Michelle Holdeman is a play therapist based in Kansas and founder of a group practice who supports young children and their families through trauma-informed, play therapy. When Michelle came to us, she wasn’t looking for just a pretty website, she needed a space that communicated safety, trust, and warmth for both kids and their caregivers.


As a highly experienced therapist with a gentle and grounded presence, Michelle wanted her online space to feel approachable for parents while clearly communicating her deep expertise in play therapy, trauma healing, and family support.


Our priority was to create a site that embodied emotional safety, used clear and gentle language, and served as a trustworthy bridge between concerned parents and the therapeutic support they were seeking for their children

  • Craft brand messaging that positions Michelle as a trauma-informed, play therapy group practice
  • Design a website that builds trust with parents while keeping language simple and compassionate
  • Ensure SEO strategy supports visibility for key local searches

  • Integrate CTAs that reduce hesitation and gently invite connection


The process

We began with brand messaging, defining Michelle’s core values: safety, emotional healing, connection, and empowerment. Her unique approach to play therapy centers around the child’s emotional world while also deeply involving the parent.


We then moved into website structure, integrating copy and design. The homepage offers an immediate sense of calm through color, soft visual elements, and warm copy that speaks directly to a parent’s fears and hopes.

  • 61 inquiries, 27% from Google
  • She got leads 2 weeks after launching the site and with no blogging work yet due to low competition in her local area
