About the project

Play2Learn Plant2Grow was created by Erika Valdés, a pediatric occupational therapist, former elementary school teacher, and holistic practitioner based in Miami, Florida. Erika wanted a website that blended the worlds of child development, occupational therapy, mindfulness, and nature-based healing into one grounded and emotionally warm online experience. The goal was to create a space where families could feel supported while also introducing therapeutic gardening, planting rituals, and mindful workshops in a way that felt playful, soulful, and approachable.


Project goals

  • Build a website experience that felt nurturing, playful, grounded, and deeply connected to Erika’s personality and therapeutic approach
  • Position Play2Learn Plant2Grow as a unique pediatric occupational therapy practice in Miami offering in-home support and holistic care
  • Create messaging that connected with overwhelmed parents looking for more personalized and practical support for their children
  • Introduce therapeutic gardening and plant-based mindfulness workshops as part of the brand’s healing philosophy
  • Develop SEO-focused pages to increase organic visibility for occupational therapy and therapeutic gardening services in Miami and surrounding areas


The process

We worked closely with Erika to translate her deeply personal story, therapeutic philosophy, and playful teaching style into clear website messaging and strategic SEO copy. The website strategy focused on balancing professionalism with warmth while helping visitors immediately feel safe, understood, and hopeful. We developed messaging around sensory regulation, in-home occupational therapy, emotional connection, therapeutic gardening, and mindful rituals while keeping the tone emotionally intelligent, creative, and approachable.

The results

  • The website currently generates an average of 292 monthly organic impressions through Google search traffic.
  • The site receives approximately 7 monthly organic clicks with a strong organic CTR of 2.40%.
  • The average Google search position currently sits around 18.39 and continues improving through SEO-focused service and specialization content.
